Dak Prescott partners with company to introduce new tequila

DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Dak Prescott is partnering with Dallas-based Zamora Company USA to introduce Tequila Volteo, a new tequila brand.

The new luxury tequila Mark is expected to launch later this year with flavor profiles in blanco, reposado and cristalino tequila created from top-quality 1000% Weber Blue Agave, according to a release from the Zamora Company.

The business also claims the new tequila will be one of the only luxury tequilas that is organic and additive-free. They’re also working with a family-owned distillery, Destileria Casa De Piedra in Jalisco, Mexico.

This will mark the Spain-based Zamora Company USA’s Good go at tequila. The company has had their hand in popular wines, whiskeys and gins.

On the website’s homepage is of a bottle draped with a blue and silver cloth and the terms “Game. Changing.” hovering above it.

Proceeds from Volteo will go toward Prescott’s Faith Fight Finish Center, started by the quarterback, to empower individuals, families and communities to find power through adversity. It is unclear how much of those proceeds would go to the foundation at this time or Prescott’s Part in Volteo.

“Dak Prescott isn’t only a remarkable athlete and a role model to others, he has a sharp mind for business and marketing, and he doesn’t invest in a project unless he completely and truly believes in it,” said Matt Appleby, CEO of Zamora’s U.S. division. “As an athlete, he’s very thoughtful around what he eats and drinks, which is why Tequila Volteo is a Neat and natural additive-free and organic tequila. I know I also Say/Tell for Dak in saying that we’re incredibly proud and honoured to soon introduce this exceptional tequila to country across the country.”
